How can I be an illustrator for magazine?

I think I am good at illustration (hand drawing) and curious about being a illustrator for female magazine. How can I start this career? How can I be an illustrator for magazine?
Contact the magazine and ask them for ';submissin guidelines.'; This is the format in which they would like to see artwork submitted. Failing to follow the guidelines, usually, results in your envelope going straight to the trash. The editors and art directors don't have time to wast on people that cannot follow directions.

The magazines will ALWAYS post their address and other contact information, somewhere, inside. In particular, look for the job title like, ';art director,'; ';graphics editor,'; or something like that, and, address it to that person, BY NAME. That way it is sure to make it into the proper hands for consideration.

Remember, some magazines do not accept unsolicited submittals, so, don't be disappointed if they don't return your correspondence.

Research is always the first part of a successful artist's promotional campaign. You will want to target the publisher that are MOST likely to consider your work. You don't want to waste time sending illustrations of horses to a hot rod magazine publisher. Sending pictures of cartoony children playing with puppies would be a wast of effort and postage for publications like National Geographic and Natural History magazines.

I suggest you go out and find a book called ';Artist Market.'; This is published every year, and lists hundreds of magazines and publisher that are known to accept submissions by freelance artists. This is really helpful in narrowing down your search to the ones that are more likely to want to see the type of illustration you like to do.How can I be an illustrator for magazine?
There are a lot of ways (most I don't know a lot about) but ones I would know are:

1. Submitting your work to magazines that ask for it (preferably art magazines of course).

2. Anime or Comic conventions

3. or Schools of Art or schools that teach art as a curriculum.

Good luck on starting your career in art! ^_^
