I import a sqaured image that I want to make circular but dont know how to round off the corners. Any advice is appreciated. I am working in illustrator CS for the MAC. Thanks.How to change the shape of an imported image in illustrator?
After you put it in illustrator, take the elliptical tool and put it on top of the image in the size and position you want, make sure there is no fill color or stroke color. Then go to object-arrange-bring to front, then with the circle selected, select the picture at the same time (shift-click the picture) and then go to object-clipping mask-make. That should do it. Otherwise, if you have photoshop you can crop it in there.
